Meet Liz

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! As a self-taught artist, I have spent the last decade exploring and refining my artistic style. My journey in creativity spans various mediums, but my current focus is on mixed media.

My inspiration stems from a deep love for colorful interiors, vibrant flowers, and the serene beauty of coastal Florida. I find joy in the process of collecting vintage books and sheet music, which I use as the foundation for my work. By printing on these materials with a gelli plate, I transform them into a unique medium that breathes life into my art.

In my recent works, I draw inspiration from my southern roots, from the rolling hills of North Florida to the beautiful beaches of the Forgotten Coast. I intentionally choose simple subjects, allowing the intricate patterns and textures of the printed papers to provide the detailed richness that defines my pieces. Through this balance of simplicity and detail, my art is designed to be visually captivating and draw the viewer in to find the hidden treasures that are revealed in the collected and curated materials.
